- Please join us for a lunchtime conversation with Boniswa Madikizela as she talks to us on, Personal Financial Literacy of University Students. Date: 11 August 2017 Time: 12h00 Ms Boniswa Madikizela is a Chartered Accountant with over 10 years post article experience. Currently she is a senior lecturer in the professional accounting stream and a member of the Department of Accountancy management team responsible for the Academic Innovation and Benchmarking portfolio. In June 2017, she graduated and obtained her MCom degree in International Accounting. Her research focused on the personal financial literacy of university students registered on the Bachelor of Accounting Degree. Her interest in personal financial literacy is directly linked to the qualities that she believes all graduates should possess as a life skill. In May 2017 the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA) announced her as a Brand Ambassador.
