Abstract
The purpose of this booklet is to assist
both the language and the nonlanguage
speakers with terminology
and the University’s high frequency
words and phrases. The following factors were considered
when specific African languages were
selected for development as academic
and administrative languages for the
University of Johannesburg: The language situation in the country
