Abstract
This study traces the origins and dynamics of Saudi-African relations to the pre-colonial era. It maintains that Saudi Arabians engage directly in trade and investment with different African peoples, which the African states have reciprocated. The study used documentary analysis of secondary sources to clearly present the dynamics of Saudi trade, entrepreneurship, and investment in Africa. It revealed that relations between the Kingdom and Africa are multi-dimensional but have a strong economic and diplomatic base. The study, which used the theory of transnational historical materialism to conceptualise its content, advocates for the promotion of Saudi interests, trade, and investments within the African continent as a path to hegemony for the Kingdom. It finally recommends increased economic and trade relations in the Saudi-African entrepreneurship exchanges and investment innovations.
