Abstract
The study examined Students' Outlook to Online Teaching and Learning in a federal-owned University in Nigeria. A descriptive survey research design of case study type was adopted for the study. A total of 59 students formed the population of the study sampled purposively, including students exposed to online teaching and learning due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Three research questions were formulated to guide the study while testing one hypothesis at a 0.05 level of significance. Data were collected with an adapted structured questionnaire divided into two sections. The research questions were answered using descriptive statistics of pie chart, mean and standard deviation, while the hypothesis was tested using one-way ANOVA inferential statistics. The results showed students' average preparedness and experience for online teaching and learning occasioned by the COVID-19 Pandemic with an average rating of the quality of lectures received. This translated to a positive outlook to online teaching and learning. Government crowdfunding for education, leveraging free online training by lectures and a tech-savvy curriculum for teacher education were recommended, among others.
