Abstract
To address the growing global demand for food, combat the effects of climate change, and overcome the limitations of shrinking agricultural land, farmers are increasingly turning to the Agricultural Inter-net of Things (AIoT). This technology supports smart farming practices and boosts agricultural productivity by leveraging data-driven devices, empowering farmers to make well-informed decisions. There are cyber security challenges associated with the use of AIoT devices. The research proposes a labelling scheme that helps non-cyber security expert farmers choose secure devices when purchasing. The paper briefly discusses security labelling for AIoT devices, the NIST Approach to IoT Labelling, and Google Principles of IoT Security Labelling. Finally, the proposed labelling scheme is presented.
