Abstract
This paper analyzes the pitchfork and Hopf bifurcations of a new 3-D
four-wing quadratic autonomous system proposed by Qi et al. The center manifold technique is used to reduce the dimensions of this system.
The pitchfork and Hopf bifurcations of the system are theoretically analyzed. The influence of system parameters on other bifurcations are also
investigated. The theoretical analysis and simulations demonstrate the rich
dynamics of the system.
