Abstract
It has become easier to conclude contracts without the need for paperwork, and, in some instances, without the need for costly legal fees, since the introduction of web-based social media applications such as Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. However, this brings into question whether these agreements that have been made and entered into are actually contracts in the strict sense of the term, due to the fact that there was no physical piece of paper with all the terms of the contract neatly set out and, in some cases, no signature at the end to indicate the conclusion of the contract...
