The aim of the study is to examine:
The management styles of headmasters and School Management
Developers.
The way School Management Developers manage headmasters.
The response of headmasters to guidance by School Management
Developers.This study on the role of principal's and School Management Developers'
leadership styles in the Harrismith District of education is of significance value
to the effectiveness of schools .
First and foremost this study will help both School Management Developers and
headmasters to develop the appropriate leadership styles in this era of change
towards achieving the effective performance of schools.
Secondly , this study can be used as a basis for developing a guide for
developing school managers in the Harrismith District of Education in this era
of change .
