Abstract
While globalisation continues to spread across the world, higher education and industry seem to be playing catch up to this phenomenon. Universities continue to tailor their programs according to the skills needed in their respective countries, but industry seems not to embrace these graduates as they cite varying reasons. Graduates find themselves in a difficult situation, industry claims that graduates are not prepared for the workplace and lack the practical skills to execute their duties in the job market.
