Abstract
Background: Currently research about the prevalence and risk factors of musculoskeletal conditions amongst tattoo artists and general research on tattoo artists is lacking. Tattoo artists are required to sit in awkward postures for long periods of time which can lead to musculoskeletal pain and discomfort.
