This mini-dissertation analyses the novels of M.J. Maluleke using aspects of narratology
in the analysis of prose. Maluleke is one of the greatest Tsonga writers in the sense that
his novels reflect a high creative level because they deal profoundly and adeptly with
people. Maluleke has been a successful writer, who through his plot, characterisation,
theme and milieu and space is able to bring out his ideas and thoughts in a very
commendable manner.
