Abstract
Many studies have investigated the relationship between Perceived Support (PS), consisting of Perceived Organisational Support (POS) and Perceived Supervisor Support (PSS), Psychological Contract (PC) encompassing Psychological Contract Transactional (PC-T) and Psychological Contract Relational (PC-R), and Turnover Intention (TUI). However, no evidence is available on the moderation effect of PS on PC and TUI in the food manufacturing industry in South Africa (SA). The aim of this study is to examine the moderating effect of perceived support (PS) in the relationship between psychological contract (PC) and turnover intention (TUI) in the food manufacturing industry in SA.
