Abstract
Informal settlements are usually found in urban zones of developing nations, which perceived as poor shelter, low service provision, and poor living conditions and security of tenure. Informal settlements are developing and these settlements frame in the form of land invasion throughout Gauteng province. The international development community has been effectively attempting to enhance the living standard of informal settlements inhabitants and to decrease poverty through informal settlements upgrading techniques.
