Abstract
The study reviewed the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on South Africa's ability to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4). The qualitative research approach is utilised. The study is based on secondary data using literature and document reviews. Data analysis is done through conceptual and document analysis. The findings indicate various challenges that hamper the effective implementation of SDG 4 in South African context. Furthermore, recommendations are offered for improvement.
