The main aim of this study is to determine the extent to which third year students
at Tshiya College of Education apply teaching skills taught at the College during
teaching practice. Since third year students-teachers are on the verge of taking
teaching, the researcher would like to see whether or not they are capable of
putting theory, which they have learned in the first and second year through
observation of demonstration lessons and micro-teaching, into practice effectively.
