Abstract
The steel industry has been seen a huge decline in their segment of business. This has introduced organisations deploying new means of operations. This is the starting point of change within an organisation, the change management process is key to the success of the business.
The scope of this research project was to identify key area where change needs to implement in an organisation to have the best chance of success. The other section this research project considers is the identification of key stakeholders and their roles in the change process.
The research methodology employed a quantitative approach, and data analysis was conducted to address the objectives outlined in this research project. These objectives were fulfilled through the administration of surveys.
Organisation should exercise prudence when embarking on change management initiatives. The likelihood of success is closely tied to the implementation of change in critical aspects of the organisation, including the company’s vision, communication strategies, removal of obstacles, organisational structure, systems and processes, employee skills, staff engagement, company’s culture, values and the company’s mission. By introducing change in these areas, it necessitates active participation from all employees in their respective roles throughout the change process.
