Abstract
In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted education worldwide and forced education institutions to adopt the use of technology to minimize human contact. As a result, institutions used different technologies to offer distance learning. This research dissertation looked at TVET college students’ experiences of blended learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research data was collected using an online survey and semi-structured interviews with eight participants to better understand the phenomenon. The researcher chose this topic to better understand the challenges and barriers faced by students when accessing education using technology. The findings of this research show that it is necessary to improve information and communication technology infrastructure in disadvantaged communities to allow access to reliable, fast internet so that blended learning can take place. Moreover, TVET colleges must foster programs that reduce the digital divide among students and give students proper training in learning management systems.
