Abstract
This study seeks to investigate the strategic management practices at the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site Management authority, a trading entity under the administration of the Department of Economic Development in the Gauteng provincial administration and to identify the factors that enabled or hindered the successful realisation of its mandate. The study employed qualitative methodology as a strategy to answer the research questions listed in Chapter 1 of this research report.
