Abstract
The University of Johannesburg (UJ) Homeopathy Health Centre (HHC) Soweto site, is one of only 2 homeopathic sites that operate as primary healthcare clinics in Johannesburg within a public healthcare type setting. Qualified homeopaths work exclusively in private practice. The public healthcare system is dealing with a large health burden and a relative shortage of staff and funding. Information on how a homeopathic facility operates within this setting is lacking.
