Abstract
The purpose of the study is to investigate how SDG Two is being implemented in South Africa. The study examines and evaluates several national food security initiatives and policies. A qualitative desktop analysis with a descriptive research design was used to acquire enough data for the study. The study revealed problems with food security initiatives' policy implementation. It is necessary to investigate technical advancements to apply these methods successfully. There is also a need for transparency amongst state departments to collaborate while executing these plans effectively. The study suggests improving politics, policies, institutions, and technological levels.
