The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of adding extra nitrogen, an inert gas, to the feed of the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis reactor. This extra nitrogen was added keeping the partial pressures of reactants the same by changing the total reactor pressure. The feed gas was switched between syngas and syngas with the additional nitrogen.
