The emergence of the democratic Republic of South Africa in April 1994, brought about
many changes in the education system. Learners became partners in school management.
Their elected representatives became part of the decision-making of the school. The aim of this research is to describe the development, implementation and evaluation
of a programme aimed at promoting constructive relationship between learners and
educators in the school.
