This study aims at the following aspects: To identify the needs of the society as perceived by parents in the Gauteng
province, through focus group interviews ; To formulate guidelines for a relevant senior secondary school curriculum in the
Gauteng province through a literature study. These guidelines will be focused on
the macro and meso level of curriculum design.
