Abstract

The general aim of this research project is to:
develop a training programme for principals in respect of strategic
leadership.
In order to realise the above general aim, the following serve as specific aims,
namely to:
investigate which elements of collaboration are involved in strategic
leadership;
develop a training programme so that principals can acquire the skills of collaboration;
test the programme using an experimental design;
and provide recommendations as to how principals can use collaboration to
improve their management of school affairs
