Abstract
Risks significantly affect the development of construction projects with regard to cost, time, and quality. As the size and intricacy of projects have expanded, the capacity to oversee changes all through the development procedure has turned into a focal component counteracting undesirable results. This study showed how efficient and in-depth management practices could be employed in the risk control of the construction industries of Ethiopia. The objectives of this study include the assessment of difficulties of risk management, the prescription of methodologies that can improve or oversee risks, the survey of the costs incurred because of poor risk management and the examination of the impacts of poor risk management on the Ethiopian development industry. Various types of literature were reviewed to establish that risk management is fundamental to the administration procedure and can help with ensuring that projects are effective. The study adopted a quantitative methodology and questionnaires were distributed to built environment stakeholders in the construction industry of Ethiopia to observe their mindfulness and how their project risks are managed. The specific findings from this research study have revealed that there is a lack of an intelligent way to deal with risk management.
