Abstract
E. coli is part of the microbes that have been threatening the population worldwide due to its ability to cause human infections and resistance to antimicrobial agents. The infections and caused are mainly prevalent in people with weaker immune systems and people who have chronic conditions, which may increase the numbers of mortality rate due to the resistance. With the increase in antimicrobial resistance, scientists are looking for alternatives such as Complementary Medicine, to combat the amount of infectious diseases that are not a treatable cause of resistance.
