Abstract
Conflict is a phenomenon which is constant in our daily lives; hence it is unavoidable in the workplace in which we find ourselves. With this information, this study was conducted to assess and evaluate conflict in the lifecycle of projects in the construction industry in South Africa. This research examined at the causes of conflict in the lifecycle of construction projects, the stages during a project lifecycle at which it occurs, project participants affected by conflict, conflict effect on project stakeholders, conflict resolution approaches used in construction projects and lastly, The benefits of conflict resolution to the project lifecycle in the construction industry in South Africa...
