Black township high schools experience a high influx of aggressive young people which increase
the demands for skilled and trained teachers. A need was identified to train teachers to be able to
handle young aggressive people. The self-study module on aggression for high school teachers
was suggested as the possible technique to assist teachers in handling aggressive youths. The
self-study module regarded as the important tool for helping teachers to diagnose aggressive
young people, should be used tactfully. This is due to the fact that youth aggression is situational.

their particular situation.
