Monte Carlo (HMC), to update two different structural beam models. The practical issues and the feasibility of the three algorithms to such problems are addressed, and adjustments are made to make them more effective and efficient for solving model updating problems. As a result, both M-H and HMC techniques are found to perform better than the SS algorithm when a Cantilever beam was updated.
