Abstract
The manufacturing industry is often plagued with high volume of return of goods, and most organisations are saddled with the problem of what to do with the returns which has led to some of them disposing of them in landfills. Which in recent times, have been stated that the world will run of landfills. Hence organisations are looking at ways to manage these returns and, in some instances, recover some economic value from the returned goods. This has resulted in the development of a reverse supply chain the study was conducted as a result of the fact that reverse supply chain is a growing concept arising from the concept of sustainability, which the world is currently moving towards. Despite this a lot of organisations are struggling with the implementation of reverse supply chain process in their operations.
