Abstract
– Industry 4.0 technologies have initiated a transformative era in business operations affecting global industries. The technologies include artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, robotics and 3d printing; they pose a challenge to the traditional approach to business operation and an opportunity. This paper reviews the influence of these technologies on Process Reengineering through a review of Siemens' implementation of BPR combined with SAP R/3 integration.
