Abstract

– Bibliometric analysis Human error framework Systematic literature review VOSViewer
This study used a systematic literature review with bibliometric analysis to look at the development and current trends of research on human errors in manufacturing SMMEs. Systematic reviews were used to identify the application of the human error frameworks, and bibliometric analysis was used to conduct the descriptive, intellectual, social, and conceptual network studies. A total of 518 items were selected and retrieved from the Scopus database between 2008 and 2025. Details were provided on the most significant countries and articles, leading journals, research fronts, research hotspots, coupling networks, publication trends, and model application across disciplines. This study offered a summary of the research priorities in human error in the manufacturing field for the benefit of scholars and researchers.
